The Community Council is a volunteer group committed to the mission of BTG to provide comprehensive educational, social and emotional resources to underserved students in Marin City and Southern Marin. The Community Council is the chief fund-raising committee for the organization, hosting an annual gala called Vines and Vision, which raises approximately 20% of total revenue.

 

The Community Council celebrates our students by supporting school traditions including Back to School, holiday and graduation events. We offer enrichment outside the classroom by providing field trips and community activities for our elementary and high school students and care packages for our college students.

 

The Community Council is kept apprised of agency developments via regular meetings with executive, administrative and teaching staff. We are ambassadors for BTG in the community and endeavor to expand community awareness and participation.
