9th – 12th grade students are also grouped by individual grade level, with up to 10 students in each grade. Students are required to attend three out of four evenings /week from 5:00-8:30pm, depending on their academic performance and need for support. The high school program’s goal is to ensure that BTGCP students are prepared when applying to college. The high school program emphasizes homework completion as a context for skills development and an array of college prep readiness enrichment. A team of four credentialed teachers, two with specialties in Math and Science, lead the instruction of subject specific group learning, mirroring current subjects taught at Tam and Redwood High School. High school students in need of additional help can also access further support through a match with a volunteer tutor.
